Board of Directors

The Job Development Authority was established in 1990 by order of the Cavalier County Commissioners. Funding is provided by a mill levy approved by the County Commissioners. The Cavalier County Job Development Authority is governed by a board of directors appointed by the Cavalier County Commissioners. CCJDA directors are chosen on the basis of County geographical representation and for the diverse areas of the local economy. ND state statute allows for up to 20 board members.

Mission Statement

The primary responsibility of the Cavalier County Job Development Authority is to not only create jobs and increase incomes by the process of economic development, but to create a climate conducive for development within the whole county. Economic Development includes the enhancement of human capital, developing community infrastructure and promoting business development.
