Olga, North Dakota, has an interesting history. Originally known as St. Pierre, the town was renamed Olga in 1883. It was established by Catholic priest Cyrille Saint Pierre, who also served as the postmaster in 1882. A significant part of Olga's history is tied to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, which has been a central institution in the community since its founding. The church and the town have a rich collection of family biographies and historical records, which were compiled in a publication celebrating the town's centennial in 1982. "Ghosts of North Dakota" visited Olga and published a story with some amazing pictures, click here to view them.
