Things to Do in Cavalier County
The Dakota Spirit Arena is situated roughly 1 mile west of the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 5, nestled within Langdon's Industrial Park. The Langdon Area Hockey Boosters, Inc. is a volunteer-based organization dedicated to promoting hockey, old timers' hockey, figure skating, and general skating for the enjoyment of the local community and surrounding areas.

The Museum at Dresden is located near Langdon, North Dakota, in South Dresden Township on section 25. It is 5 miles west of Langdon (from junctions of Highways 1 & 5), to County Road 23, which is affectionately known as the Dresden Road, then 4 miles north on the Dresden Road to 97th St. NE, then 1/2 mile west on 97th St. NE, and then north into the town.

Frost Fire Park Ski Area is located in Cavalier County, 9 miles north and 14 miles east of Langdon. Frost Fire offers a variety of activities, including skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking. Visitors can enjoy delicious food and drinks at the on-hill bar and grill, Howatt Hangar, while taking in the beautiful views.

Since 1985 Frost Fire Summer Theater has brought quality entertainment to the Pembina Gorge. Some of the musicals done include: Fiddler on the Roof, Shenandoah, Big River, The Sound of Music, West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast, The Buddy Holly Story, Ring of Fire, Route 66, and Oklahoma!
